    I’ve always been a die hard steam type. I can’t believe that I’m actually getting sentimental looking at these pictures. The high nose geeps especially. Until I left home in 1966 I used to see them almost every day.

    One if them, a “torpedo” one I think, ran though an open draw bridge, in 1968 or so, down into the bayou. The was a photo in the paper showing one corner of the hood above water. Later on I saw another one of the ruined engine being craned onto a barge. Anyone have access to those photos? And remember which engine it was? For some reason 133 sticks in my mind.
