Hi guys. Thought I should do a proper introduction since already replying to a few posts. I’m probably world’s worst at joining and reading many forums but never making a comment.
I’m Mike Huddleston, born and raised in Southeast MIssouri. We lived only a stone throw from the Frisco mainline in Sikeston and wasn’t much farther to the MoPac tracks. Still in the area after all these years.
My brother and I have been railfans for many years. We made many weekend trips to North Little Rock in the early 80’s. Nothing like those times when we could drive right up the Jenks shop and the guys would invite us in to look around and take pictures. On the way back, we would drive through Poplar Bluff to see what was sitting in the yard.
I’ve been a MoPac modeler in HO for some time. As technology has improved, recently I’ve been getting deeper into 3D printing.
Looking forward to discussions here on the forum.
Mike
I wanted to thank you again for taking the time to design and reproduce the resin GP-12 parts set for the Missouri Pacific Historical Society. I’ve worked with many modelers and both large and small companies and I have to say your ability to design, produce and ship the parts in such a short time was amazing.
While the parts set aren’t bringing in a large revenue stream like a locomotive sale we were able to offer a set of unique parts that only fit a Mopac locomotive which is in part what the Society should be about for our members.
Looking forward to seeing a post of your GP-12 when you get it finished.
Mike,
We are glad to have you onboard. Your work on the GP12 parts is greatly appreciated.
