        Charlie, is X4378 one of the Howe boxcars? It sure looks like one. With some windows added, the old Westerfield resin kit would sure make a great model. Jerry Michels

          Yes X4378 is a Howe car. Sunshine Models did the Howe cars with the Dreadnaught ends but they are expensive even as kits. I think the Westerfield kit (1951) could also be done with windows and door too and it’s available.

          These cars are beyond cool. Hi railers functionally are better I know but these cars, they scream to be modeled.
