3 DEC 2024 During my presentation at our October 2024 convention in Pueblo, I repeated something I had read, that the “N.A.” in N.A. Junction (east of Pueblo, Colo.) meant nearby North Avondale. (N.A.Jct is where MP crossed ATSF.) Afterward, someone suggested that perhaps “N.A.” was the abbreviation for nearby Nepesta. “NE” was in use elsewhere, per the MP 1925 “Official List of Officers, Agents …”, “NE” was the telegraph code for Tribune, Kan.
Can any readers contribute documentation to show what “N.A.” stood for? thank you, Jim Gattis [email protected]
