The MPHS Bulletin Board is for individuals interested in prototype locomotives, operations, structures, freight equipment of Mopac, Texas & Pacific, Gulf Coast Lines, I-GN, Iron Mountain, KO&G, Midland Valley and Missouri-Illinois Railroad. It’s also designed for model railroad discussions pertaining to the above railroads. We operate on the principle of collective group ownership without restrictions on topics or message content. Each member of the group has the right to express his or her opinions on any topics that may come up as long as its within the scope of why the Bulletin Board was formed.

We want this principle to allow for a minimum of rules. Everyone can feel free to post pretty much whatever they find of interest without worrying but staying on topic, avoiding foul language and other common courtesies fall within the general guidelines of mutual respect and consideration of your fellow members. While there are few rules, no personal attacks and straying too far off the general topic of prototypical railroading or modeling railroading. Insults directed at other members or associated individuals and vendors, partisan political statements and arguments that are unrelated to the main topic at hand can not be tolerated. Such posts will be deleted by the moderator and members who violate these terms of their membership will receive a warning. Like baseball, you get three strikes. If you receive two warnings and a third instance occurs, you’ll be removed from the bulletin board.

Bulletin Board should not be an anonymous forum. When posting, members must sign their posts with their full name. There’s an option in the user profile where you can automatically sign your posts to make this easier.

The MPHS may use the text posts, in whole or in part, for use in the Missouri Pacific Historical Societies archives and/or the MPHS web site (mopac.org).
