Is anyone handling an RSVP list?
I would suggest making a contact list with each persons name and contact info to hand out to all attendees. Or at least contact info for each organization we know is sending a representative.
BTW – Teresa Militello at MOT can’t make it now. She will probably give me some business cards
luisflierl26ParticipantMost were taken in the 1930’s, but he was an avid photographer throughout his entire career working for several railroads, and probably usually travelled by business car. I believe some later ones are also in color. If you need a date on a specific photo, I’m sure Nick Fry could help with that. The later photos are usually more specific to whatever railroad he worked for at that time.
luisflierl26ParticipantYes they were mostly shot from the back platform of a business car. Barriger travelled the country taking photos of railroad infrastructure for the Reconstruction Finance Corporation.
luisflierl26ParticipantNone of the depot lists are entirely up to date. There are some listed that are gone now as well that I’ve encountered (not necessarily MP).
luisflierl26ParticipantI can take minutes.
Has anyone responded that they are coming – besides the people I talked to in person?
luisflierl26ParticipantCharlie – there are a few diesels available. I’ve seen PA and SD-40, usually more expensive than I like to spend. I’ve also seen passenger cars occasionally, but who has room for a set of those.
I would like to see an MP caboose some day, and I have never seen one. Maybe we could do a special run in the future. Also a better ART Reefer would be nicer than the white one I have.DH
luisflierl26ParticipantI may have to print a poster of that map on page 3

luisflierl26ParticipantGreat photos, thanks for posting.

luisflierl26ParticipantPat, the red building is the Trolley Barn. It stores most of the traction collection. Most of the items in there are in need of restoration. It is not open to the public.
luisflierl26ParticipantThat same set is available in dozens of different railroad logos.
luisflierl26ParticipantThe railbus is right in front of the caboose
luisflierl26ParticipantWore my MoPac hat to Galesburg. No comments from any of those Burlington folks up there.
I might need an IGN one just for the logo. Hope you bring the C&EI ones to RPM.
