I am trying in that area as well. He told me he had to have 20 firm reservations of that model as well.
The 7100 isn’t a of work They are subtle changes, but to the builder do not like changes more chance
for mistakes the price goes up it would be
in the1 1199.95 range and I would gladly pay it. But would any one else pay that ?

FWIW the only way we are seeing the T&P 2 10 4 , is he did some CGW — Freedom Train — Southern models with it

If Scott decides to do the E3’s, I’ll take an A&B set – I will drop him a note. Bill, any luck getting him to think about #7100 for the Delta Eagle?

    thanks bill

It looks like in swings in on some photo’s to make it flush, I just have a hard time thinking they would do that on a 5′ wide door.

Other photo’s shoe it recessed and slides open.

Rock Island photo’s with the baggage door show flush as well.

Jerry, a check of circular 176-P dated 6-1-1965, shows both MP and MKT switching Boonville with only two industries having a single railroad switching them. One MP and one MKT. the rest are open to either. The next interchange with MP and the MKT would be Sedalia. From Boonville the MKT heads southwest and the MP pretty much due south joining the St. Louis to Sedalia main line at Tipton. Gene

    Ron,

The MP Station is inside a wye interchange with the MKT coming up from the southwest. The MKT crossed the Missouri River just west of MP Station. Here is the track layout:

Well after many months and looking at photo’s and data the O scale T&P 2 10 4 610 models are now

completed have been loaded on the container and on the long boat ride to the importer.

They are due to arrive at SSM 3rd Rail July 20th usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks to ship to customers.

This is something that has only been modeled 2 times 1963 and now 2018 . they are fully reserved

for 120 models of various flavors.

When i get mine I will post detailed photo’s.

    Pat,

The single emblem above the reporting marks was a short lived A.R.T. paint scheme from about 1948-1950. The MP Buzzsaw was on one side and the Wabash Flag on the other side.

Hello I received the pre production photo’s for the T&P 2 10 4 I was told by Scott Mann the will be shipped from
the factory some time in Mid June to arrive some time in July. This was a very well researched model last done
by Max Gray in 1963. there will be 2 numbers offered gray green and black # 610 and black # 614

This is a very stunning model with all the cab dials lighted by LED”s

I am not sure if the all have been reserved or not, they may have a stand by list if you want one,

price is $ 1899.99 lots of model for that price.

I post a picture two times in the last month. I checked to see if they posted and they did. However, with a couple days each of those disappeared. What happened ?

According to my UPS tracking info. My Mopac Pa’s were shipped to me from SSM on 3/19/18 they are in transient to my Oregon address for delivery 3/21/18. So I guess we can say the are now shipping. When I receive these I will post the finished production models with a critique.

Hopping they hit the mark on this, as right now I am working On the Mopac E6 AB 7002 7003.

    Bill Basden

The SSM 3rd Rail Mp PA’s will arrive stateside to SSM on 3/10/18. Orders will start shipping on 3/20/18. These models are fully
reserved but there are stand buy models maybe. The MP and SP are the only ones that will have the Farr grills, the remainder
of the run is the regular type PA grills.

I am really hoping they hit the mark on these for the MP versions. I an getting two MP 8019 and 8026.

Scott said hind sight is 20 20 . The PA the builder was able to correct the lower head light as is should be.
The nose MP herald needed improvement. best they can do is send a corrected herald as a decal to add to the model.

The models are presently being boxed up and the container box is being loaded .

Now for me Lesson learned.I have to look at everything that I get to critique in the future, heralds have been a big issue.
Scott told me if they get caught in time for things are not right he will have them corrected.

On the PA’s I should have pushed for a photo etched wing sections and had a decal add over that. that would have been nice.

Well when I get my two I will report in on the results, over all people should be pleased. I am with what I have seen.

Nose problem huh….I’m guessing they forgot the white circle on the buzz saw, like on the E8.

Well Gregg score one for you on that, I saw that but had not clicked with me yet. My issue was the upper and lower headlight
orientation upper vertical while light lower red lens. Lower light rotate 90 deg horizontal did do that on the E-8.

PA Also should have the chrome trim piece at the windshield, missing on the model.
